I have Win2000 on my PC, and it has become very slow. I
think my system files may be corrupted. How can I
reinstall the Win2000 files without losing all my
programs ? Thanks

I'd just check that you aren't loading/starting too many programs
automatically when Windows boots. Also, you might want to run an AV
program and an anti-spyware program against your system to be on the safe
side.

I recently installed Norton AV, and Norton Security, but
the PC was slow before these installations. I ran Spybota
number of time before the Norton installations, but it
didn't find any spyware.

It is slower with Norton AV/Security running, but not
significantly slower. Nothing else is loaded. Someone told
me that even with AV programs, once you get a virus,
you're in trouble.

Nevertheless, how can I re-install WIN2000 ? Thanks...

P.S. I noticed this evening that two people tried to hack
into the pc (Norton Security alerted me).
