Slow opening of "My Computer"

When i press the icon "My Computer" it takes 2-3 minutes for it the window to
pop open and show content. It just shows a flashligt swinging back and forth.

The computer has several users but all deleted temp. internet files and such.

Can anyone tell me why it takes so long for it to open and how to help it
getting faster again.
