Slow network response

I have experienced slow network response accessing
Internet/ Intranet sites via a Windows 2000 PC, as
compared to the access via a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation

Any ideas why?

ip setup is ok.

I have put sniffers on the network and found that the size
of the "packets" transferred when using a Windows 2000 PC
is more than twice the size of the "packet" transferred
when using a Windows NT 4.0 workstation PC or Windows 95
PC ... when accessing the same website...

Let me know your thoughts

Hi Big Al,

Sorry, have never used sniffers on a network, so I can't help you with that.
Does it happen on all W2K's? Have you looked for spyware?
