Slow mouse pointer with 9800 pro

I recently uninstalled my 64Mb Sapphire 9000np and installed a 128Mb
Sapphire 9800pro. The card works great buy I've noticed my mouse pointer
moves a lot slower than before in WinXP pro and in games. In games, I've set
the mouse sensitivity to max and I've set the mouse pointer speed all the
way to the right in the control panel but it makes little difference.
Anybody knows what gives ?

My 9800pro came with Cat 4.1 but I decided to stick with Cat 3.7 after
reading the tests here

Cat 3.7 seems best for games. The latter Cats just seemed to be tweaked to
give better 3DMark 01/03 scores.

Silly question but have you tried re installing your mouse drivers?
