Slow mail delivery

I've had a problem with some people in the office
complaining about their email taking a really long time
to send out.
Even takes long when sending messages within the office.

Any help on this????

Are you using Exchange server?
You'll really need to provide a lot more information if anyone is to help

Yes we are using Exchange 2000
