slow logon

sir,

my windows XP system take a long time to logon to my server (windows 2003
server). it too slow. even i have not given any DNS setting.
wat could be the problem. pls help me???

If you haven't "given any DNS settings" that's your entire problem. You
need to set your XP clients up to use the DNS on the Windows Server 2003
server, then set the server up to resolve all DNS queries both inside and
outside the network.
