Hi!
We have a Windows Server 2003 AD structure with a root domain and a child
domain. The root domain has two Server 2003 with AD installed and nothing
else. In the child domain there are five different schools in five different
geographical locations. They are connected with 2 mbit links. All five
locations have one Windows 2003 Server with AD and a site configured and a
Global Catalog for each site.
We have mainly Windows 98 clients on all locations but we are slowly moving
over to XP. Three of the five schools are having big problems with slow
logons on the 98 clients. All 98 clients are 98SE with all "Windows Updates"
installed. AD Client Extension is installed on them to. The servers have the
same configuration. DNS, WINS and DHCP is installed on each server and
serving each individual site. We cannot find any differenses in
configurations but still two of the schools dont have this problem.
Does anywone recognize this problem?
