I have searched all the way to the end of the Internet
and haven't really found a solution to this problem... I
knew it was the end because a I got another pop-up
window... only this one said "you have reached the end of
the Internet, go home and get a life!"

I have two Compaq ML350's running Windows 2000 Server SP4
and Metaframe XPe 1.0 Feature Release 2. I do not have
Anti-Virus software installed.

My users (connecting through NFuse and Program
Neighborhood) are experiencing very long login and logoff
times. I do have roaming profiles configured... I know
it's not a profile size problem because I experience the
same issue even when I create a new user. I don't think
it's a security issue because I've assigned the Everyone
Group with full permissions to the root folder that
contains all my profiles.

The server that contains the user profiles is a Compaq
ML530G2 connected to a Dell giabit switch. The Dell
switch is connected to a 10/100/1000 port on a new Cisco
2950T switch. Our office was just built so we have all
new CAT5e network cable. We use a Full T1 for our
Internet connection.

The users are connecting using dial-up, DSL, Cable Modem,
& T1 lines.

On both Citrix servers the Application log is filled with
the following messages which I belive are somehow related:

---------------------------------------------------------

Event ID: 1000

Windows cannot unload your registry file. If you have a
roaming profile, your settings are not replicated.

The timeout waiting for the performance data collection
function "TermService" in the "M:\WINNT\system32
\perfts.dll" Library to finish has expired. There may be
a problem with this extensible counter or the service it
is collecting data from or the system may have been very
busy when this call was attempted.

I'm offering 1 billion (10) points and the title of
Computer God to anyone who can help me solve this very,
very annoying problem that I've been working non stop on
since Monday.

Thank you for reading my post,

Joe

.... and if that doesn't help, I have a workaround (not a
fix) that works pretty good. Send me an e-mail if you are
interested.
