Slow Internet

I have a couple people I have been talking to. One has a Vista box and a XP
box. The other has two Vista ones. They problem is that in both cases one
box is WAY faster then the other when it comes to internet. The XP one being
the fast one in that case. Looking for some insight on how to fix this
problem. Thanks

the nature and the configuration of the Internet connection.
As a Guess, Try to Optimizing the TCP/IP Stack according to the type of the
connection.
