Slow Internet on Client machine

Hi,

I just set up a home network between two computers running XP Pro using a
crossover cable.

All went well. I am able to share files etc and share the Internet (dialup)
connection, email works fine using Outlook but some web pages on the client
machine refuse to open...Yahoo is one. If I connect the client machine by
itself (by modem) to the Internet all these pages open.

Any idea why some pages refuse to open when the client machine uses the
Network connection?

Thanks in advance

Possibly. Could this be the problem?:

Thank you so much, Bob Day! Weeks ago, I posted a similar
issue concerning a very slow internet connection. I
followed the directions from the link you provided, and it
is fixed! Thank you again!
