Slow internet connection on Win98 client

Ok here's my setting: 1 Win2k DC that does DHCP also, a Win2k NAT box that
is connected to the internet, 1 XP client, 4 Win2k clients and 1 win98
client. Basically the internet is very slow on win98 client computer. All
other win2k / XP clients seem to have no problem connecting to the net.

And here's my IP address allocation to each computer.
DC = 192.168.0.2
NAT box = 192.168.0.1
All other clients = DHCP enabled, get the address from DC, all in
192.168.0.X range.

DNS forwarders:
- 4.2.2.2 (This helped a lot, I had slow internet connection on ALL clients
but this resolved the connection problem on win2k / XP clients, it just
seems to have no effect on win98 client)
- IP address given from my ISP.

My guess is that there's a name resolution problem that only affects win98,
because when I ping major websites from win98 client, I get normal readings.
Any feedback would be very appreciated, and if more info's needed to figure
out the problem I'd be happy to give more. Thanks!!

Hi Andrew

I'm assuming all the internal machines are only using the internal DNS?
Couldn't make that out from your post in regards to the ip configuration
that DHCP is giving out.
