Slow html transition

Hi
I have a show and transitions work fine. I save as HTML and the slide has
the transitions run slowly. Is there a fix for this>

What you say is not true. Transitions, animations work just fine when you
publish a PowerPoint presentation to the web
 
In PowerPoint, saving as Web Pages means static slide shows, without
transitions, animations or other effects.

Sorry. That's incorrect.

Depending on the browser and your PC, the animations may not be as smooth as
they are in PPT, and some transitions may not be supported, but they both do
work in some situations.
