slow echo from forms........

Hello,

Win ME, IE6 with SP1

I have a strange problem with IE6. Whenever I visit a web page with a form
and type something in the form whether it be a single or multiline text box,
it takes AGES for what I have typed to echo back to me.

Like I'm typing this actual post and the minute I press a key it appears
onscreen ok. But when I am on a web form it can take 20-30 seconds for me
to see what I have typed. It's as if the web server is on Mars or
somewhere!

I did a virus scan and all seems ok.

Any ideas?
