Slow download to finished Movie

I finished a movie and it was 80MB..but the downloads were taking between 20
and 25 minutes, so I made it smaller (50MB) but the downloads are still
taking between 20 and 25 minutes..what am I doing wrong...?

What sort of connection is it being down/uploaded from?
