slow computer

Recently one of my computers is very slow when surfing the internet. What
used to take 5-10 seconds to load a web site, now may take anywhere from 1-2
minutes. I have Windows 98,
2nd.edition. IE-6. Its not the provider, since the
connection is fine on another computer. I have dial-up. Any suggestions?

So why are you posting in a *Windows XP* group, then?! There are plenty of
Windows 98 groups.
