slow computer even after scans

My computer has slowly but surley gotten slower to boot
ot do anything within first 5 mins. My computer started
off okay. i have done, Syware / Adaware scan using Search
& Destroy. I have cleaned the registry using Registry
Clean Pro. Disk defrag using windows defrag. and cleaned
out temp and internet realted stuff with Mcafee quick
clean. is it a computer problem, or just somthing to be
fixed with software?

If you are running winxp, use the taskmgr to check what is running and/or
using up your resources.
