SLOW BROWSING

I have LAN over switch, total 3 computers (sometimes and more, but standard 3), 2 of them running w2k sp2 and one w2k sp4.

1. Everything was working fine, but now from time to time browsing trough Computers Near Me and Workgroup have very long delays for
around 30 seconds and more ??? what could be the problem?


2. What is the best configuration for small LAN's, if I didn't make one?

One suggestion would be to map drives to the shares that you access between
computers.
If any of them access the internet, you should get them all up to date on
service packs and hotfixes.

The browsing issue can be caused by many things, you would need to provide
more details about what changed especially if it was "working fine, but
now...."

But now what?? What changed?
