Hi guys. I have two network cards in a Windows 2000 server one for the
internal network and one for the external network. I have ISA Server,
Exchange Server 2000 and a huge server behind it to serve about 40
users.

The problem I am experiencing is that it takes about 60-90 seconds for
the Users & Computers part of AD to initialise when both cards are
enabled. If I disable the external card then it does it immediately. I
think it has something to do with DNS and going to the outside world
first. Can anyone let me know how to stop this? Or other than that is
there any other ideas? I have looked at the Microsoft site to set up
the Proper DNS and followed there procedure but to no avail. Please
help.

Thanks in Advance

Check your NIC binding order (Advanced menu in Network connections).
Internal NIC should be listed first, otherwise you get this kind of errors.
