Slow 2000 server

Remko

Our windows 200 server is extremely slow,
it freezes when we try the task drop down list in the
performance monitor.
It is the DNS, Data, and Exchange server.
Is it running a task that is killing it?
Event viewer has Error Source DNS event ID4004
All hot fixes and virus are upto date.
We recently connected a linux satellite Router.
PLEASE HELP

What DNS servers do you have in your NIC?
It should only have your local AD DNS server listed.

Open task manager. Go to the processes tab and look for the process that is using up all the CPU.
