Hi,
Can anyone recommend a desent slot A motherboard. I have a pc that needs one
and won't be doing any overclocking or anything fancy.

I've just fitted an,"Asrock"(Asus) Board: K7S8X. 3.0
No problems.Very stable if a bit boring.Also I've fitted several low
end Jetway V266b boards.Excellent value for money but QC a bit off e.g
had to return one as it had a faulty CMOS but other than that OK.
Buy local if you can with any board unless the supplier is top-notch
online.

My friend had an Asus K7V and I had an Asus K7M, neither of us used the
USB or AGP on the boards so can't comment on that, but both boards
worked just fine.

btw, I ran a 500 @ 800MHz on my K7M for 3 years, seems funny now but
800MHz was really-really fast in 1999! ;p
