I have Windows 2000 Pro clients with drives mapped to
shared folders on a Windows NT 4.0 server. After making no
changes to the network, the other day one of these clients
"spontaneously" started functioning VERY slow when
accessing files on these mapped drives. I'm talking
minutes to open a Word doc, and unable to open some at all
(presumably because it would timeout). This client is
identical in hardware and software to the other clients on
the network, who are having no trouble. Any ideas?
