I have a quick question regarding the Q824141 and slipstream this hotfix.
I was following the instruction from Q814847 - how to slipstream hotfixes
that replace pre-existing driver files.
After I extracted the files in a temp folder, I notice kernel32.dll,
win32k.sys, and winsrv.dll are extracted into a separated folder \uniproc.
I figured I just overwrite these 3 files with the same file names in the
\i386\uniproc in the source directory and way it goes...
But after I RISed the test machine, I found these 3 files did not get the
new updated version... I wonder where the machine getting these older
versions from since I deleted them from the source folder..
Do I have to do anything special in the svcpack.ini and dosnet.ini files if
the source files are not in the \i386\ folder?
Thanks for your time.
