It is a miracle. I found a pair of scissors that can get me
into a P4 or AMD 64 packing box in about 15 seconds. They
totally foil the Morons in the packing industry, and will
whiz one of those stinking boxes open with very little
effort. The points are razor sharp, and the blades are
only about 1 inch long and slightly tilted. The finger
loops are very wide .. nearly 3 inches round, and yet
the entire package is only about 5 inches long. I just
touch the tip to the plastic, and it pops right through.
Then, I can snip the entire bottom off quickly without
lifting the box off my workbench. Yahaa! Take that
Packing Industry! No name on the scissors. I ran across
them in a hardware store over by the garden tools.

The the packaging industry will retaliate with Steel cased boxes.
With NO SCREW on it.)

This is why you get OEM CPUs. :-P

Sometimes when I buy an OEM CPU along with a motherboard, the shop ships
with the CPU already latched in the socket.

i gave up on scissors years ago. break out the old drimel tool and grab a
renforced cut off wheel crank it up to 10k rpms and it will burn/cut right
threw the package.

I use my old Rambo combat knife for opening those boxes. If the
****ers don't open up, I use the C-5 explosives hidden in my knife to
blow them to smithereens.

I always use a blow torch to open my packages, sure it is a little messy but
it works every time, just make sure to have a fire extinguisher close by.
