Hi,

I have a long 87 slide presentation that I uploaded to my
website. It works fine when I present this to a live
audience. It has no sound, but lots of transitions.

On-line it will not allow for slide advance. Clicking not
the tiny "next" icon (at the bottom) advances to slide #2
but then keeps reverting back to slide #1 again. I can
click on slide icons on left side and they all display but
not when "scrolling" or advancing from slide to slide.

What adjustment did I not make? All my other presentations
online have never had this problem.

Thanks.

Philip,
Can you post a link to the presentation? It is usually easier to track these
kinds of problems down by looking at what is on the server, what should have
been on the server and what the links say, than it is by just talking in
theories.....

Okay, I found a couple of things. Right now, you have the presentation set
up as browsed at a kiosk, using automatic timings. However you don't have
any timings present. There are a three things you can do to get around your
problems:
1) Turn of automatic advance and use manual advance instead (this setting is
in Slide Show --> Set up show).
2) If you want automatic advance, then add timings to the transitions.
3) If you want to keep the presentation as a kiosk, then you need to add the
previous button to each slide. You also need a next button on each slide as
well.

Try these things and post back.

Kathryn,

Strange, I had tried all of this. So I went back to manual advance, browse
by individual and no notes. This time I copied the program from a CD that I
had made so none of the transitions and animations are present. And it now
works. So *one* thing changed this. Was it the transitions and
animations? I don't know.

Thanks for your help.

Phil
