slides not showing on slide show

Hi, My slide show has 12 pictures in it and none are hidden. only about 4 of
them show up on my slide show and my speech is due tomorrow! Please help!

What version of PPT, and how large are the images (in pixels, if possible)?

Do the photos not show up in slide show view or is it only a problem in
normal edit view?

The photos don't have animations applied to them, do they?
