Here's a good one

I've saved a presentation in PowerPoint 2003 and sent it to a collaegue
She opens it - but half the slides are now blank

I've saved it as a 97-2000 + 95 version and she does get all the data - but the file size jumps from 151k to 2meg (so I'm not big popular)

Any ideas anyone ? this is a new one on me

Hi David,

which version of PowerPoint does she use? If it's 97 or newer, there is NO
need to save a presentation for the "97-2000+95"-version, because it will
reduce the content of your slides to the objects PPT 95 is able to display -
and that means a LOT is omitted. At the same time information is added to
the file to enable PPT 95 to display it - and that increases the file size.

Save your file just as a "normal" PowerPoint-PPT-File and send it to her -
she should be happy with it.

Kind regards,
Ute
