Slides are Embedded from PPT to Word

I'm using the function in PPT to send the PPT file to MS Word (File > Send To
MS Word). Everything was working great. I was attempting to create a macro

to enlarge the slide image by 110%. Sometimes it worked - sometimes it didn't.

But then something happened and I'm not sure how to correct it or where the
issue is. When I use the conversion option in PPT, it creates the file in
Word, but all of my slides are replaced with the following - no matter what
slide number it is:

{ EMBED PowerPoint.Slide.8 }

If I use Print Preview - I can see the slide, but I can't view it in on
screen in either Normal, Web Layout, Print Layout or Outline mode.

I've tried rebooting and shutting down - but nothing happens.

This is driving me CRAZY - how do I correct this??

Gman,
Have you tried pressing Alt+F9 in Word. That toggles between field view and
normal view.
