I want to have two doucments/charts on same slide.

When I click 1st document comes forward & is reviewable while the 2nd
document shrinks & sits back slightly faded until you click again & then the
1st shrinks & sits back faded while the 2nd now magnifies to the front for
review.

I've seen it at a conference and would like to figure out how it is done.

You could use trigger animations to trigger the animation when you click the
object. See http://www.echosvoice.com/triggers.htm to get started with
triggers.

For the animation, you could use Grow/Shrink. It's under "emphasis"
animations. Here's the formula for growing an animation back to size after
shrinking it: http://www.echosvoice.com/growshrink.htm

As well as what Echo said you could ADD an emphasis > tranparency 50% to get
the faded look. Make it 'with previous' after the grow/shrink
