Hello,

Is there a way to make slide transitions slower then one
second? I'm trying to set a slideshow with 93 slides to
a song that is 3:42 long and I can't figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

How are you setting slide transitions that are 1 second or faster? You can always set the transition to more than 1 second. The easiest thing to do is go to Slide Sorter View, select all your slides, and choose Slide Transition from the Slide Show menu. Pick a number larger than 1 for your automatic transition.

Robin, 3:42 equals 222 seconds, so since fractional seconds are not available,
it seems that you want to set 57 of your slides to 2 seconds and 36 slides to 3
seconds.

True Sonia, but this will not hold if the user has transitions applied. For
instance, a 10 slide presentation with slow smooth fades set for 2 seconds
each will take 31 seconds to run on my machine with very simple slides.
High definition pictures, background tasking and slower processor speed will
all lengthen the time it takes. Plus there will be significant variation
from run to run or machine to machine.

Personally, I'd suggest looking at Windows Movie Maker 2 at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

It will allow exact timings set to music. It may be the better tool for
what you want though it pains me to refer outside of PowerPoint.
