Hi everyone, I am a new user who wants to find out one thing (for now..): how
do I format the bulleted text points of a slide so that only one appears at a
time, at the time I desire? This is for a class lecture and if all the info.
on the slide appears at once, the students don't pay attention as they
scramble to write everything down. So, is there a way, by pointing the mouse
or clicking the down arrow, to make one point appear at a time?
I appreciate any advice, Thanks!

Hi Sarah,

that's very easy using Animations. But: Microsoft changed the way animations
are applied in PPT 2002/xp. So please let us know the version you are using
to give you detailed instructions. Generally speaking: Use "Slide show -
Custom animation".

Kind regards,
Ute

This entry from Steve Rindsberg's PPT FAQ should help, no matter which
version you are using:
