Slide sorter view: all slides appear with an icon on top right co

Hello;
In PowerPoint 2003, I have a document, when looking at the slide sorter
view, all the slides have an icon on the top right corner that looks like a
rectangle with a pen and a tick mark.
Any way to remove these?

As I asked in response to your previous post:

Are these slides connected to a
Sharepoint slide library? I'm wondering if it's the icon indicating that it
checked to insure you have the latest version of a slide.
