I want to show my slideshow on the computer's monitor. I'd like each slide
to be its maximum size and still be able to see all the slide. I can't
figure out how to do that! Can anyone help?

You don't have to worry about it. Just use the default size of 10" X 7.5".

On the other hand, you may not have the slide show settings correct. Go to
Slide Show > Set Up Show and make sure that you have it to "Presented by a
Speaker".

If you've got a normally proportioned monitor, do as Sonia suggests; accept
the default size and it'll fill the screen (though some earlier versions leave
a small black border all around).

If you have a wide-screen or other non- 4/3 ratio monitor see

Make screenshow fill a wide screen display
