Slide show skips

I set up a slide show using Powerpoint 2003. When I view it in Windows XP,
it skips every third slide (I can go back to the previous slide, then when I
return to the skipped slide, it shows up).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mark

Please tell us more about the animations and transitions you used. Do you
just click on the slide to advance or do you use action buttons or
hyperlinks?

And one technical issue: Do you use a wireless mouse or presenter? Then
insert a fresh battery into it.

Best regards,
Ute

Are any of the skipped slides 'Hidden' ?

Right click on the slide in the slide sorter and ensure that 'Hide Slide' is
not selected.

Ute:

Thank you for your suggestion. Sorry for the delay in responding.

When I loaded PowerPointViewer.Show.11, I am able to view the slide show (on
my pc) if I download the show. If I simply "view as slideshow" directly from
the gmail attachment, it continues to skip every third slide (I click on the
arrow at the top of the screen when this is going on).

My problem is that I want to send this slideshow to many people, which means
that there will be all kinds of systems to view this kind of thing. Is there
a program that I can transfer my PowerPoint presentation to that will be
readable by
every (or nearly every) computer?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark

You might want to have a look at slideshare: http://www.slideshare.net/

I've only just discovered it myself, so am a bit unsure about the details
(e.g. how it handles animations etc). All I know is it's free :-) Oh, and you
can't stop anyone viewing the pres so if it's top secret you'll have to find
a different solution.

I was just trying to get in before the spammers, sorry I meant community
members, who'll tell you to buy their software to convert it to flash :-)
