Slide show pausing

We have a presentation that runs on a big screen tv and a monitor that runs a
program that customers log in and out of. A video card enables us to have the
presentaion run on the big screen while the monitor shows something
different. The problem we are having is that when anybody uses the program
that the monitor shows, the presentaion up on the big screen pauses and then
you must restart it. Is there anyway to make this stop?
