Hello,

We have Dell windows 2000 SP3, office 200 SR1.

When we click on slide show , the show doesnot display to
the entire screen . It displays to the top right corner of
the screen , leaving the other 3/4 showing whatever there
in the back ground.

We tried the repair option and also installed powerpoint
update listed in the microsoft site.

Any idea about the issue.

Best Regards
Srivats

Srivats,

Could you please double check the following:

- Does it do it with any presentation or just one (if it's just one..then check slideshow>setup show>tick presented by a
speaker)
- Does it do it on all your Dell PCs (or is it a laptop)
- Has it always dones this or only recently (if so what was recently installed)

Cheers

Hello Taj Sammons,

Thanks for the reply.

1. This is happening with all powerpoints

2. It happens in the Dell laptop D600. ( Only one Laptop)

3. We have tried all the options available in the Menu.

4. Also note that we have uninstalled and installed office
2000 and also repaired.

5.This is new machine.

6. Softwares installed ( just to give you more info :) ,
If you need to check this in any way.)

Pcanywhere
Visio
Mcafee virus scanner
Intel shield 7.0
Adobe acrobat reader
Citrix client
Winzip

Windows 2000 SP3 . IE 6 SP1. Office 2000 SR1 . power point
update ( latest patch from Microsft site )

In the same machine , Outlook 2000 is not closing , after
saying file exit the message " Microsoft outlook exists "
appears and it never closes. We need to manually end task.

We have checked mailbox size, offline folders ( disabled /
Enabled ) . Configured different porifle - it works with
different file. From server end the profile is fine.

Thanks for your help.

Srivats,

Thanks for the reply.

I'd suggest installing the "latest graphics card drivers" for your Dell laptop

First point of call would be the dell website

After that...try the manufacturers website

e.g. nvidia, ati , s3 etc
