slide show hangs on flash

How do I get a slide with flash to advance to the next slide
automatically in a looping presentation like any other slide?

How did you insert the flash file, Rudy? I don't have any trouble here
getting the next slide to come up. Which version of PPT are you using?

I insert it with swiffpoint player. I have 2000 on one machine and XP
on another and get the same results. If I put flash in a presentation
that is already set to loop it will play the flash and go no further.

Hm. I don't know anything about the swiffpoint player, but I suppose
that could be the problem. Try using the technique described at
http://www.flashgeek.com and see if that works better.
