Slide Show Gadget Doesn't Allow me to change selection of pictures

I'm using Beta 2 of vista and I cannot seem to change the selection of the
pictures in the slide show gadet. I've included my own pictures in the
c:\users\myname\pictures folder - which you can't change the directory either
- but it just shows the standard pics?

Is this a bug or is there a way to change this to include your own personal
pictures?
