Hello,

Is there a way to name each slide so that it can easily be referenced from
presentation view? I have 100 slides in the presentation and would like to
know which one I am referencing when I right click to go directly to a slide.
Such as if I need to move from slide 89 to slide 40.

tjh,

If you use a standard slide layout with a title placeholder, then each slide
has a unique name, that equates to the slide title. If you have duplicate
slide titles then you will have confusion.

Selecting your slide
When presenting the slide show, a right click offers a menu which has a "go
to slide" option. This option lists the slides within the show.

For example, I have a presentation that contains 120 slides. The presenttion
contains several custom shows. One custom show only contains 8 slides, and
the go to slide option only lists these 8, in sequential order. 1 title 1, 2
title 2, 3 title 3, etc. Another custom show has fifty slides, and the "go to
slide" option offers lists slides 1-50 and also lists an All slides
selection.

Since, I needed standard titles for this presentation, I moved the title
placeholder outside the visible slide margins. I then put used a text box as
the visible title.

Why not try slide thumbnails in presentation for better navigation?

Flash is not the solution to everything! (And you should mention, that the
tool you are advertising is NOT FREE.)

If you need to go to slide 40, just type 40 on your keyboard and press Enter
(while in slideshow mode). This is easy, and it is FREE.

Best regards,
Ute
