Slide library in MOSS and PP 2007

Hi all,
When I copy some slides from a slide lib (only pptx slides) to a
presentation and save it locally and then reopen the local presentation and
ask to run a check for updates. the applications skows that all the slides
need to be update (via the wisard) although there wasn't a change in none of
them.
Is it normal? The next time I do the same it says that there arent any
updates.

How are you copying the slides from the slide library and getting them into
the local presentation?
 
Inside the slide lib (in MOSS) - First I check the slides that I want and
then using the "Copy slides to presentation" butto.

Okay. I think, then, the behavior you're seeing is expected. PPT has to do
that initial check for updates to establish the "link" between the slide
library and the local presentation so it can determine later if there have
been changes to the slides. I'm not positive, though, since I don't have a
MOSS server and slide library available to work with.

It might be that if you insert the slides via Reuse Slides (Home | New Slide
| Reuse Slides | Open a Slide Library), you may not have to do this initial
check for updates. Again, I'm not positive about that, though.
