Slide Layout Problem

My cousin is trying to do a power point presentation using Office 2003 and she is using a template. She can add a title and add text, but when she attempts to add the clipart to the slide using slide layout, she has a problem. The window pops up, and the thumbnails for the clipart are there, but when she clicks on it, nothing happens and then Power Point seems to lock up. When we checked the Task Manager, the app has a status of 'running', so we don't think it's frozen. The app also can't be closed, so we end up rebooting. Rebooting does not resolve the problem and I am really at a loss of what to tell her since I am not a Power Point user. I don't know if this will make any difference or not, but she is dialing up as opposed to broadband, so I am not sure if Office is trying to get these clipart files from the internet. I was trying to see if there is some way to install the clipart files locally so that she won't have to worry about downloading. I think Office 2000 used to allow users to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The clipart files are installed locally - but PowerPoint also uses the
online resources of the Office Online portal - the latter can be disabled by
:

1. Go to Help | Customer Feedback Options
2. Choose the Online Content option
3. Disable 'Search online content when connected'

We will try it out when she gets home from work. Will let you all know if this resolves the problem or not. Thank You!:-
