Dan

I am trying to create a poster using a powerpoint slide
format. My poster can be a maximum of 145cm wide;
however, the maximum width allowed by Powerpoint is
134.4cm. Is there anyway of overriding this?

Dan,

The workaround is the create a page size in the same proportion as your
poster.
e.g. if poster is 145cm wide x 210cm tall
Then set powerpoint to 14.5 x 21.0 tall

Then either get powerpoint to "Scale to fit" when you print. Or get your
"printer driver>properties" to "scale to fit"

Dan,

I assume you want your poster printed on a large format
inkjet printer.

What we do is set the "page size" to exactly one half of
the final size and print it at 200%.

Works like a charm.

You need to make any inserted image files, etc. correctly
to avoid the dreaded jaggies.
