When I force the system to go into sleep mode, no matter if I log out before,
when I wake it up it freeze. When I move my mouse the pointer doesn't move,
but it changes position on the screen after a while. I can't run any program,
system slowes down, like it didn't worked at all. I can't even turn the
system off properly. After performing a hard reset the system comes back to
normal.
I have installed the KB929734 hot fix, but it didn't solved the problem.
I suppose the problem is my motherboard - ASUS K8V-X, they don't support it
with a new drivers and ACPI works with standard driver from microsoft. Can it
be fixed somehow?

I think i have a similar problem as well. When I first built the PC and
installed vista, the system would sleep and wake just fine. Now if i leave
the pc on over night, it locks will not wake up. It will not even go into the
low power state like it used to if i leaft it running over night.
