I cannot get my pc in the sleep mode anymore. I get the
message com port 1 is preventing standby, check driver. I
went to com port 1 and it said is working properly. Com
port is my keyboard and I never heard of a driver for it.

Is this a desktop or a laptop? Keyboards use either a USB or a PS/2 port -
I've never come across one that uses a COM port before.

BTW: keyboards usually are not connected to a COM port (=serial port,
used for modems, older types of mice, data cables).
