was looking at newegg at the
4000+ amds and saw a sledgehammer
designation looked at link in a post
here and didn't see that des. on
that site any 1 ever see this name before

Sledgehammer is the codename for the 130nm Athlons with 1MB of L2 cache and
dual channel memory. i.e FX models. The 4000+ is basically an FX with its
multiplier locked.
 
does that also apply to the
clawhammer ?
