sky + anyone?

I have been with sky a good 4 years now and have been thinking of getting sky +

ive seen it at my mates house and it looks good

does anyone here have it?

got any tips to get it cheaper?

it does look good
but i looked on website it costs another tenner a month
we pay £32 right now with the broadband.

I got to add I love the broadband it's so cheap
but its only super good if u have got sky tv

I got Sky + its great, your best to look at the sky website and check out the packages. You dont pay for the sky recording facility. You only pay the extra £10 for the HD sub if you get a HS box.

I have it now, I wouldnt be able to go back to standard sky. We dont pay any extra for it but we do pay a bit extra for the sky multi room so not sure if a sky+ fee is included in that

If u can get it, then get SkyHD!! i got one i think 4 months ago, and its amazing!! Although its not cheap when i got it installed. Plus every now and again they give u free stuff! like last month they give me two free box office movies of my choice!!

I had a brief look guys it said that it would cost £99 for the box, £30 for installation then an additional £10 a month.

I currently pay £32 a month thats £5 for broadband and £27 for the television side.

I don't mind the £30 installation its the £99 and the £10 a month extra that I think is too much money.

We don't need multi room.

I was more hoping that the sky HD box would dramatically shoot down the sky+ price.
I will ring them to ask them, i remember my sister having these free installation and box vouchers bu they ran out.
I was impressed by the website when i put in my data but still talking to a real person for me always yields a better result.

I rang them up the man said 30 quid
and then 99 quid will be how much they will charge us

i dont mind the 30 quid but the 99 is too much

i asked if i got my own box he said 65 quid for installation
the problem is that finding a box for abt 50-60 is almost impossible
these things are not easy to find cheap because they are sky plus boxes.


There is no 10 quid a month which i was worried about

i think im gona wait untill special offer or something
or if they take the 99 quid off i dont mind it then

i just dont think its worth the £130 rght now

when looking on the webiste the £10 a month extra appeared because i was selecting the multi room service

I dont want this
so it is free of charge after these payments

doubt im getting it for now though
