skipping

Greetings,
Most of my downloaded music(and also the "sample" music that came with XP) I
play with Windows Media Player are skipping now. I dont remember this
happening when they were first downloaded. It sounds almost exactly like an
old record player when the record got worn. Any suggestions.

I also have encountered this problem, quite frequently actually! I'm preety sure its a common bug that is found on most Pcs running various X.P. versions! If u reformat ull solve the problem long term! By doin a system restore, all seems to have lasting effects!
