I bought a new Dell computer a few months ago already
with Windows XP home edition installed on it. At that
time I set up two users. Now I want to be able to skip
the screen where you log in as one of the two users and
go directly to the main screen with all the desktop icons
and the start button at the bottom of the screen without
using a password. How do I now change that now? Thanks
in advance.

.. Go to the Start Menu and the Run box.
.. Type in the following:
control userpasswords2
.. now click OK
.. In the new Windows that appears select the account you wish to make the
primary logon.
.. Now uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password..." box.
.. Hit Apply and a dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the
selected users password.

Click OK.
The changes will work the next time you restart your computer.
