Hi,

I have a pst file which is 2GB large. Are there any
recommandation or limits regarding the size on the pst
file? cause the computer is now very slow and I do not
know if this is the reason why.

2GB is the limit for Outlook 97-2002 pst-files. It wouldn't be long before
the pst-file can't be opened anymore. Better create a new pst-file
immidiately and move some of your mails to there. Then rightclick Outlook
Today-> Properties-> button Advanced...-> button Compact Now to reduce the
pst-file in size and to get a buffer to the 2GB.

The speed depends on several factors (like system specs and number of items
in the pst-filebut most systems slow down significantly when they passes the
1.5GB mark but others do so already on 700MB.
