Is there a recommended maximum size file for insertion as a movie into a
powerpoint presentation? I'm trying to insert a movie taken from Google
earth and the program keeps hanging. The file I'm trying to insert is a .wmv
file of 8K - dimensions 320x240.

Thanks!

I think you have something wrong with the file. A WMV (windows media) uses
almost 6K just for the file header. My guess is that you converted it from
some other format and the conversion failed.

I misspoke - it's 8,000 K. The .wmv file seems fine - it plays on it's own -
I just can't insert it.

Ok, what did you use to create/convert it?
