Hi Don!
Excel specifications are listed in Help for all versions although
Microsoft keep moving it around. Details for accessing specs are
below. But to get the row limit before your very eyes press and hold
down Ctrl and then press the down arrow.
No! You can't increase it. And if you delete a row, a new row 65536
gets added to the bottom.
Specification search:
Excel 2002 and Excel 2000:
Help > Microsoft Excel Help
Select Answer Wizard Tab
Type:
Excel Specifications
Search
Excel 97:
Help > Contents and Index
Select Index Tab
Type:
Excel
Double Click "specifications"
The location of Excel Specifications varies according to Excel Version
"Installing and Removing Excel" Excel 2002
"Getting Started" Excel 2000
But Excel 97? There just doesn't appear to be an entry in the Contents
tab at all so you have to search the Index.
